How the dam affect to Mekong river

I choose this story because the Mekong river provides millions with water for drinking and irrigation, and through its huge fishing grounds provides a life -giving supply of protein.There are many rarely species of fish, birds, and other wildlife that live in or around the vast waterway,on the contrary, Environmental damage to the river with impacts including water pollution, reduced fish populations, biodiversity destruction, river bank erosion, and the flooding. I think the environment is affected to the future because there are many the hydropower dam on the lower Mekong river. I think the dam would destroy for the environment. The Mekong river is consistency of the southeast asia which are flown through China, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I think it causes for the dam development because it's great the benefit providing. It leads to the Global Warming. because the bad odor is caused the CO2, CO and every element else. especially, the reduced fish population. How do you conserve them for this environment??

Thailand representative have opposed the Chinese government's plan to bulid 12 hydropower dams on the lower Mekong river at the regional riverine forum in the Vietnum. They're disagreed for this project because it leads to the environmental ecosystem. The workshop was aimed at assessing environmental strategies to del the negative impact. There are four discussing for do these. For example, to scrap all the dam project, to delay this projects for study of the impossible impact, and to bulit the dam as pilot project. Mr. Pragarn told the meeting that advantage of dam was electricity production, and that they are several other alternative energy sources that can be utilized. China's four dams on the upper part of Mekong river have already destroyed the river's ecosystem. It is now investing in three hydropower dams project in Lao and Cambodia. Nobody can imagine how the Mekong river flows.

In my opinion, I think its bad for the environmental ecosystem of the Mekong River because they are many hydrowater jams on the upper water. It's very important and essential for your life. It is provided with water to use the electricity, on the contrary, the jams are used for many people who are consumed. It has a lot of beneficial for them. Sometime we should regulate and save the electricity because it is important to the hydropower jam. However, we can enjoy to conserve for our environment. I think it helps you are the other people in the world, and it's not happened for the global warming,too. Do you agree with me for this statement??
